Congratulations to Angela, Canyon Home Care & Hospice’s Employee of the Month for September!
Angela has been an RN with Canyon’s Meridian branch for two years. She says what she loves most about Canyon is working with a team that is fully invested in doing what’s best for patients.
Meridian Branch Manager Mileen shared that Angela is always willing to step in wherever she’s needed. She has helped patients and families through the transition from home health to hospice, including conversations about goals of care. When a hospice nurse wasn’t available, Angela helped with an admission so a patient wouldn’t have to wait for care. Families regularly tell the team how caring, knowledgeable, and helpful she is.
Angela says her teammates and the positive outcomes they achieve together motivate her every day. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, reading, gardening, and crocheting. She’s also an Idaho BBQ Association Certified BBQ Judge—and her forever meal would be tacos! 🌮
