Employee of the Month – December

Canyon Home Care & Hospice is proud to recognize Nicole as our December Employee of the Month. Nicole joined Canyon in the summer of 2024 and has quickly made an incredible impact on our Denver Branch through her compassionate leadership and unwavering support of both patients and staff.

Drawn to Canyon’s strong reputation and culture of growth, Nicole embodies our “lead with yes” philosophy. She believes deeply in thinking outside the box, removing barriers, and advocating wholeheartedly for those we serve. Her favorite part of her work is ensuring her team feels supported—especially in hospice care, where the emotional weight can be heavy. Nicole’s leadership style is thoughtful and adaptable; she has learned to tailor her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, recognizing that no two people are the same.

What motivates Nicole each day is the privilege of working alongside what she calls “the best, most upbeat team members” she has ever known. Their positivity inspires her to bring her best self to every interaction and decision.

Outside of work, Nicole loves spending time with her family, who never fail to bring a smile to her face. She also enjoys painting—something many colleagues may not know about her. And if she could choose one meal to eat for the rest of her life, she wouldn’t hesitate: enchiladas.
