Quilts for Kids
Quilts for Kids generously donated 51 amazing quilts to the pediatric patients of Canyon Home Care. Ladies all around Utah make these quilts throughout the year for kids in need. Each quilt has a tag on them with the name of the person who put their hearts into these blankets and spent their own time and money for this great cause. Canyon Cares Program!
Our new Canyon Cares Program has brought some extra comfort to 11 families this holiday season. All of these gifts were donated to a family in the Pediatric Department. It was so nice to share this experience with this family. They are so grateful for the toys, clothes, and necessities provided. We look forward to doing this again for the years to come. Happy holidays everyone!
SLC Butterfly Release 2018

On a very hot day in June
Our intake team was walking the other day, when they stumbled upon a small chickadee in the middle of the side walk! Poor little, pickle the bird had hurt his wing. The caring souls here at Canyon Home Care & Hospice can’t not turn away a person (or bird) when they are hurt or in need. Our caring staff is now taking care of the brave pickle, the bird. And we have high hopes he will fly high.

I wanted to give a shout out to Staci and thank her for setting up our Canyon vendor booth this evening. The SL Canyon marketing team will be meeting with Social Workers from around the state tomorrow at the ACMA Conference. Job well done, the booth looks great! Summer Giveaway Basket!!
